You ever shoot lead from a .416? Will have to check, think mine's twisted tight enough to run 500 gr paper patched at about 2,000 fps. It'll over penetrate but I'm thinkin' it will be spectacular on the offside, easy to track all that.

Whaddya think? Chunks?

Splattered a small one, about 90lbs, with my 458 Win, 350 gn Hornie RN's. 'twas very impressive, to say the least. Shot it facing me, and is the only animal I've shot evah to have completely spilled its guts without rupturing them. Split the side from shoulder to ham and the stomach was laying next to it. It had about a 4" cheerio as well. I was sitting on the ground with my back to a tree when I shot him so it was almost a horizontal trajectory.

That does it. Gonna paper patch the phoucin' Rigby and blow pig guts into the next zip code. laugh

BTW, did you salvage anything for the mess kit?

I saw a pot bellied pig take a 2.75" FFAR in the ass once. I mean I saw it happen but there wasn't any trace evidence to prove it afterwards. They tend to be small anyway.

I am..........disturbed.
