Ruger MKII SA, stainless 24" Douglas #2. Eddie coated all the metal in graphite black, then pillar bedded the rifle in a McMillan MKII Hunter (Sako). Shoots great, feels great. I really like the stock...

I wanted the look of a blued/wood rifle, but something that would stand the elements. The McWoody and some paint on the stainless achieved my goal!

I'm thinking I'll bust a cow elk and Mulie with it this fall...


I have the same stock on my pre-64 300 H&H. Shoots well too! Group on the left at 100 yds. Three shots 180gr Barnes TTSX.
