Tanner,
My 24F in 223 & 12 gauage is my "back to the farm" or "beaver" gun. We're over run with beavers flooding our hunting land behind the family farm and I use the 12 ga for close beaver shots w/ buck shot and 223 for long shots. Handy truck gun other wise.
The 223 shoot good even with the horrendous trigger (even after gunsmith work)and my scope still maintains zero even after shooting 2.75 buckshot loads.
What I hate.. cross bolt safety and NO half cock (like a marlin 336) so its easy to forget
And the scope raises your aiming point on the shotgun barrel so I need to raise it up about 4" at close range.

Neat gun, but accept the limitations. Pick it up if the price is low because mine would go over $600 if I sold it.

Other than that, How was the show Mrs. Lincoln?
