You will do just fine. It's not a race, just one step at a time. Rest pauses are allowed until you reach the destination. As long as there is no extreme discomfort the mind is as important as muscle.

Addition: I no longer concern myself with how fast I get there. However taking the trip still burns bright.

Been a great thread. Thanks to all for the inspiration. Wish more of the over the hill gang would have made a commitment. Have a fellow at the gym who had a stroke and now walks kind of odd. But the journey, work and effort he has made to get where he is today
is an amazing story. The guy doesn't know the word quit.
