Not everybody hunts up north, so some are probably. Where we were in MN, it should be bucks only for the next 5 years min.
We were in Douglas Co, WI this last week. This was the 2nd or 3rd year of bucks only. It's working. I saw 11 deer and 1 was a buck...a wide 6pt that offered no shot on thanksgiving morning. I saw more deer in WI this year than I have in the last 5 combined in MN.
With that and the rules for youth hunting, WI is the better place to hunt right now IMO.
The tent camp was exactly like I had imagined and I love it. I didn't want to come home. But tomorrow, will be my 5th day of work in November so I should probably show up.
