I did a beak shot on an Eland in Africa some years ago...first shot was spot on, but the critter took off at a high lope, decided to follow up with a lead of just in front of his nose... my boolit was faster than I thought! Got there a little soon, but he decided to give up about then anyway... My wife got a cow tag this year, and wants to go kill one, so I am encouraging her ( and her brother, who is younger and more eager) to go get it...no beak shots!!! Ingwe
