Drove up to camp Thursday to check things out. Snowed most of the way up, but nothing was sticking.

The high winds the past few days sure took down a lot of trees. Power and light crews were out all over the place trying to restore power. There are areas of the state that wont have power back until this weekend or early next week. Two school districts in the North are still closed due to power loss.

The North also received a bunch of rain and our road into camp was flooded at the creek crossing. There was more water around the cabin than I've see in 20 years. I think we're going to need an air boat to get arond the woods.

I did not find any scrapes and only one small rub, not good.

Saw a couple of deer on the trip out.

When I got home the lastest edition of Wisconsin Outdoor News had arrived. There was an article about a 75 year old hunter that took a very heavy buck with a crossbow. The buck weighed 314 pounds (Live weight) on a certified scale.
