DaGriz, I would like to see the pictures of that tripod setup. I am building a lake cabin in northern MN and thinking about doing a sandpoint too. Not sure if it is possible because my neighbor drilled a 130' well and he is at a 20'lower elevation and closer to lake level. I have been watching this thread because of my current project and to get a feel for how my grandfather felt when they built our hunting shack 52 years ago. Humdinger
