When I use the ground blinds for turkey hunting, I leave a few of the stakes out and just lift it up and sneak under. You're right on, that zipper sounds like you could hear it for miles in the early AM, especially when you're trying not to make any noise.
Now why didn't I think of that?? I was seriously going to give up on the blind because of it. Thanks Tom.
