Considering about 1/3 of the team is skipping it to go hunting, I doubt it.
Dad used to call me in to school with an acute case of Buck Fever. My football coach loved it, as he was a hunter too. My high school principal was so uptight you couldn't have driven a pin up his arse with a sledgehammer. He called certain parents (mine included) every year about the importance of kids being in school. Dad had a little come to Jesus with him junior year and pointed out that I was not a failing student, and would be deer hunting. The principal failed to see the humor in that, but I didn't get "the call" senior year!
