lumber liquidators usually has some pretty darn good prices on wood flooring. We have had both engineered and solid wood and the solid wood has held up better....but....that is a sample size of 1 so take it with a grain of salt. You can refinish the solid wood more than the engineered, but realistically I dont know many people who are going to refinish their floor more than once or twice.

One big decision is if you want the sculpted or textured (it looks like there is a very slight longitudinal wave) vs the perfectly flat. I have had the flat.
