I got my MN tag for the "A" season. I'm sure there'll be snow. For WI, It'll be a later tag, I like the first and/or second week of May actually. For whatever reason, I've killed more turkeys between May 4-8 than any other time.
'Oak, my boy came with me last year to central WI (Tigerton), at the age of 7. We set up in the middle of a hay field at the bottom of a ridge the bird like to roost on. They either fly down to the field or disappear over the ridge where I don't have permission to hunt.
