so, if your going to put flotation under the floor, but your not going to attach the floor to the hull, wont the floor just float away, as your boat sinks?
It's mostly for sound dampening. My floor is aluminum and is riveted to the ribs. It would be louder than all get out without the foam. Got foam in the back and front decks too. Boat might swamp, but it shouldn't go under. Not going to test it however.
