I'm fairly confident that it's going to happen, Tom. We'd be going with the same outfitter (Lobo Peak Guides) that we used in 2006. We'd even have the same guide. My son met with them last Sunday out in Portland and got the details. They're going to let the grandson come along for free. He can hunt grouse.
They have 2 openings. Early September and mid October. Son wants to take a bear so the early season would be best for that. The late season has been the best for moose though.
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Except for bears. Bears kill you.
