no we haven't made it to duluth yet. I did find a couple of canoes to buy in the duluth area that my dad is likely picking up for me today. an aluminum standard 17' double ender alumacraft. And an older model also a 17' double ender made by Aero, kind of higher ends like a birch bark canoe. I thought that one would be kind of funny & I predicted that the 2 girls on our trip (the 2 older girls) would probably claim the "indian style" canoe for themselves. I mentioned the canoe last friday to my daughter & right away she piped up "we call that one!!"

I'll be in the duluth area on the 2nd of july. staying at my dad's, picking up the canoes from him & heading towards Ely the morning of the 3rd.
