I have a few different blaze wool jackets I use regularly. But both are too hot if it is mid-30's or warmer. One is a nice light weight coat that Columbia makes. It's the only one I've seen like it. The other is a Bemidji Woolen Mills coat that is really heavy. I've only worn it a few times because it's that warm! I got it about 6-7 years ago for Christmas.

Most of last season I wore a fleece 1/4 zip pull over with an orage vest over it. I only remember wearing my lighter wool coat on the last day of gun season and then again during the muzzle loader season.

The fleece is surprisingly quite. As quiet as the wool. I didn't expect that. It's much easier to take care of as far as cleaning goes too.
