Actually Stan the greater part of MN only has a 1 week season, Chickenbuck is located in the area of the state that has a two week season & we're pretty glad because we need 2 weeks.

What does everybody think of this for kitchen wallpaper for the cabin?

CBF brought a couple of friends up this weekend & one of them came up with the idea to peel birch bark off some of our firewood & staple it to the wall for wallpaper.

I kind of like it.

And of course the big news, Pam has been on a dry spell with the deer. She doesn't hunt nearly as much as I do, she used to hunt with her dad and the last time she got a deer... well it was almost 20 years ago shocked

So this is a big deal:

She anchored the spiker, 125 gr rem core lock 30-06. Took the lungs & heart, very nice take, well done.

Would be best if I let her post & tell her own deer story. grin
