The check engine symbol was also on. Anybody ever hear of this?

Nice to hear on Christmas morning! Thanks Bill! LOL!! I've been doing some research on the internets and it sounds like a common problem without a common answer. I may need to rethink this newer chevy thing. My '96 went 250,000 miles without any problems but this '07 sure has way more than it should.
