Since this thread started I have been to Iraq for my second tour, Afghanistan, and am now reading this thread while in Qatar.
(BTW took me about 3 weeks to get through this whole thread!)
First of all, a HUGE thanks for serving this great country. Second, welcome to this great thread Dave started. We're glad to have you here.
At least once a year I read this thing cover to cover. Somewhere in it, you probably read about my friend Lucas that passed. When I get to missing him, I read this thread from the beginning. It was about this time in 2007 that we learned he didn't have much time with us any longer.
Weird as it may seem, this thread has helped me get through that.
