That sounds like fun Ryan, we plan on doing a batch or 2 of choke cherry wine this year. I have 11 gallons of cleaned choke cherries frozen in gallon bags. Pam is going to process a couple gallons of choke cherries tonight for jelly actually.

Well, I guess it's getting late so maybe she won't get to them today but I can see them in a big pot in the kitchen from my computer chair. I just love the smell of that choke cherry juice once you get into the process.

But 13 gallons for us this year, wow that's a record for us and they are still hanging on the trees in the forest too. We went to the cabin today to cut some poles for building a wood shed at home and I noticed the choke cherries were still hanging in there, not falling off quite yet.
