it was fun, but it was also a little different. it was brainless fishing (I joked that to practice, just go winch up a boat). having everything done for you (put out the lines, take the fish off, clean the fish, etc) was weird. This isnt a replacement for a good old Canadian DIY trip, but it was fun nonetheless.
Speaking of Canadian DIY trips, I am going to take the 8 year old girl on her first Cananda trip soon. I am really looking forward to it and I really hope she can tie into a 10 pound northern!
What you do today is important, you are trading a day in the rest of your life for it.
