First morning look-out.


We were watching over this.






We saw about 10 does that morning and 5-6 bucks. Only does were legal. He had an easy wide open poke at a big doe at 154 yds about 40 seconds after we sat down that morning. But he wanted to hunt a bit and passed. It was a pretty steady stream of deer coming in for about 1.5 hours. The wind got stronger and the temps dropped a bit. So, we got up and went for a walk.



As we were unloading gear into the back of the truck, we got a visit from the warden...which actually turned out to be Ryan looking for us. lol
he even pushed a shelter belt for us to get jack a deer. He kicked one out but it never stopped for a shot.

The after noon hunt turned out to be better in the shooting department.



The next morning....it was time to make a little meat.


It was a great trip and tough to come back. Can't wait til we can head back out!!
