We were on the way to my parents for Christmas Eve and my truck suddenly lost power and started dinging like crazy. The message board alternated between "stabilitrak is off" "service traction control" and "engine power reduced". I pulled over and messed with the button but that did nothing. Then I limped it the last 3 miles to my parents house and it shifted REALLY hard. Its a 2007 Silverado. (spare me the chevy jokes. Its Christmas!)
The check engine symbol was also on. Anybody ever hear of this?
