Tom, if the idea of handgun hunting appeals to you that 375 JDJ is quite a weapon. Bruce took his to South Africa a couple of summer's ago and tamed a Lion with it, plus 9 other various head of game. 270 gr bullets at about 2100 fps is pretty stout medicine and not that bad to shoot. I remeber someone making a carbine in that cal, and that is what appealed to me. it's a cool cartridge. One of the few biger ones I know something about.
