Muffy,In April we adopted a 5 year old Maltese/Poodle mix.Absolutely one of the best dogs I have ever had the pleasure to be around. Good of you to rescue a stray and get a nice dog who will bring you a lot of fun and pleasure. Be sure to get the dog micro chipped in case it ever got lost.The cost at the humane society here for this is like $7. Most humane society rescue animals come with a 30 day health insurance policy just in case there is an unforseen problem. Get a good dog and you'll never regret it.
