It looks like a Dave and I had the same idea on Sunday morning. I took a little road trip up to some of my old stomping grounds to get some exercise chasing some grouse and see some fall colors. Got both.

Started out on this logging area. Got in a good walk but no birds.


Moved onto the next one.



and the next... this bird decided to fly right at me. It's been a while since I've shot a grouse. So, I was happy to get it.
