Mid 50's in NE Wis today; warmest since December according to GB weather. I'm as cabin fevered out as anyone, but with all the snow we did have this winter, the slow melt is a blessing. Also, I usually buy a case of quarts of maple syrup yearly. Last year was so warm the season here (50 miles north of Green Bay) was only about 7-10 days long, instead of the usual 3-6 weeks. Seems like the slow spring should do wonders for that season. Anything to keep my simple brain from getting too uptight about too long winters. I should probably move 500 miles south when I retire.
