Try to remember when you hire an inspector on a house sale, they're working for you. So, that means everything they find will be blown out of proportion in your favor (usually). Basic home electrical isn't that big of a deal but if it's serious, have it looked at.
I'm guessing they'll fix it, knock $ off the sale for you to fix it, or tell you to fly a kite, which may happen but is unlikely.
