I was in DL over the 4th for a fam reunion. tried to buy a husband wife combo 14 day license and apparently bought it for the whole year. had some decent walleye fishing, caught one that was 23" and several in the 16-19 range. got into some sunfish that could barely be held with one hand and were thick and meaty. new boat is looking like it will work out great, unfortunately I have to work on our old house to get it on the market wednesday so no fishing for me this weekend

mama said we should take an icefishing trip this winter to MN since we have the license. no argument from me! maybe do some spearing with my uncle as well, he's pretty good at it. we'll see how the year shakes out, I have a bunch of tags I need to fill first, including a cow elk tag here in the black hills.
