Oh & Bill, it's a Yamaha engine, not a kawi... not sure why I was thinking Kawi.
You threw me a bit of a curve when you said it was a Kawasaki Dave. All the Jet's I ever saw were Yamaha's. Must have been running a hot plug to put a hole in the piston or a real lean carb. Pam didn't look any to thrilled.
