Well it happened. I went out for a prework sit for an hour this morning and as I walked back to my truck I see this guy come over a hill with his nose to the ground. I put the sneak on him through the short grass and got to a telephone pole and whacked him at 120 yards as he was walking quartering to me slightly. hit him in the spinzenwheezer (high lungs) and he ran about 60 yards right towards me. I figured since he was headed towards the truck I wouldn't hit him again and stop him Not a monster but a fine example of a Black Hills Whitetail.
here are a couple of pics I took. the dragging pic shows a lone tree behind him, I shot him about there, so it was a good drag. I won't leave my gamecart at home again thats for sure!
