Ryan, if I ever decide to get rid of the .300 Handi rifle I will let you know. Yes, Remington shut down New England Firearms (NEF) when they bought Marlin. I got mine on a closeout from Bud's Gun Shop. One of the most accurate rifles I own. Also mucho fun to shoot. I occasionally deer hunt with it if I am in relatively close cover although it is MOA accurate at 100 yards. Now you all know where my tag line comes from.
