A doe and three fawns came out of our woods feeding down a line of cedars we planted a few years ago. Lauren got all excited and started shaking. I said it's okay to shake, but you have to control it when it is time to shoot. Of course we didn't think it was going to take an hour for them to feed down to us. First 1 fawn came and she just couldn't get aimed right. I stopped it 4 times with a Baaaaaaa. Them the next fawn.... Same result. Then the doe... Same result. I have to hand it to her, she must have felt a lot of pressure to shoot. The last fawn was right by the doe and she got on him and knocked him straight down. Then the excitement boiled over. Wow. Never seen anything like it. Tears of joy, hopping up and down, just raw emotion that was pretty special to watch as a dad. I feel bad that non hunters will never experience that.
