No, when I keg, I siphon the beer from the fermenter into a keg. Like they have in a bar, except in my shop. Which, FWIW, is better....

So, unlike bottling the beer, where you need to add sugar to carbonate it in the bottle naturally (which leaves a yeast cake on the bottom of the bottle), you siphon it to the keg, hook it up to CO2, and let it carbonate by pressure.
