Muffy, you don't have a venting issue, you have a clogged line issue. You need a service man with a power snake.
And you're just wasting time and money with most chemicals.
Call a service shop that knows what their doing, roto-rooter or such.
I'm not the one wasting time and money, it is the landlord. If it was up to me I would have called someone right away to take care of the problem. Since I am not the one "in charge" it was not up to me. Now the plumber can't make it here till Friday. I told him about it on Sunday. Trust me, it sucks. If it was up to me (which it was not) It would have been acted on right away.

I am out of order until further notice. My "stupid people" filter needs cleaning and my "give a damn" batteries have run out.
