Thanks Tom. I figure it will go between 50-53 on the gps. Childs play for the speeds the bad azz boats you like go though. It's a pretty heavy multi-species boat, with a deep-v hull. The bass boats are rockets but not these big heavy suckers.
I had a Ranger 692 that would go 49 consistantly. I had it up to 51mph on a perfect fall day with not much gas left in the tank. This baby will be smmmooooooth on the "walleye chop" though.
Hopefully you and that smiling boy of yours can make it up this way and I'll show you. Maybe we can get Northern Dave and his boys and hit the pond by his place.
