My buddy has a place on the Caribou Trial near Lutsen. The men cut and hauled the cedars to camp and the ladies took the bark off of them. This was 15 years ago so I don't remember the total process but the front and the porch of the sauna are built of the logs. The other three sides are are just T-style siding.
