I'm very easily talked into a tip up trip for northerns.

actually right now is my fav time to be out there, before xmas & into early January.

But late ice is a really good time & it's better known as THE TIME to catch big pike.

Rooster Jim was kind enough to send me these photos to post from one of the last times our families were together chasing tip up flags & pulling tug of war with pike.
