The income tax situation is attractive in TN, SC, and FL. The winters are even more attractive.
But even heading west will sole some taxation issues. We think SD is a wonderful place and very well may end up there. When the bigger kids graduate in 5 years we will look more closely. Heading west in Oct and will probably look more in-depth then.

I'd love to find what I'm looking for in FL. I'm sure we could in north Florida. But I think I'd want to live close to the Gulf. There are just too damn many people there for me to like it I think. But man could I get used to that fishing in the Gulf!
