That's what I told him. If you're not going to sit in it I will. You're looking from north to south as the stand. There is 200 yds to shoot to the north, 300 to the south and anywhere from 50-150 to the west. The west is really thick pine/spruce mix probably 10 year old growth.

It used to be really thick. The county started logging it this time last year and it was still active during the deer season. So, we pulled it down. When we went back out we loaded his stand in the truck just in case. I'm glad we did. They did such a nice job cleaning it up you can actually drive a truck to that stand. Usually they leave a hellova mess there.
