Thought I'd post a few "old school" photos from Northern Minnesota deer camp for you boys hitting the woods this week. My grandpa and his family homesteaded in the Oklee, MN area before the turn of the last century. Chances are if you know someone with last name of Bergeron or Lambert, we're kin.

Here's a bunch a hooligans at deer camp circa 1939. Grampa is third from the right. North of Oklee, not quite to Thief River.



Who needs trees for a good buckpole? This one is give or take a few years off the last one at the farm in Oklee. The original fuzzy wind-chimes!
