I'm so friggin' mad, I want to hit somebody. Tom and I hunted my spot in Lakeville I got permission for earlier this year. No luck, but that was okay. I had left a message with the owner earlier this week letting him know we would be in there. I always do. Called him this afternoon to thank him again, and let him know we'd be back after lunch. I reached him on his phone, and was informed that we would not be able to hunt there any more, because the other group that had permission to hunt there had ruined things for us. One of their guys took a "guest" in there who in turn showed up on another day with several uninvited "guests". As it turns out, they shot a deer, right next to his neighbor's horse stable (not on property they had any permission to be on.) There were multiple trespassing issues with his neighbors, so basically, he's been made out to be the bad guy because of the actions of these unscrupulous hunters. No wonder he doesn't want anyone to hunt there any more. I spent a full year cultivating this relationship so I'd have a nice place close to home to hunt, and now these azzholes screwed it up for everyone. No wonder property owners post their land. This really sucks. I hope they get arrested for trespassing if they ever have the balls to go out there again.

My apologies to Tom for how this got screwed up.
