Gopher gunner,
I have hunted on dog driven deer hunts. You sit and listen to the dogs run for a long time. When it sounds like they are coming your way the excitement level is wayyyyyy high. The deer are really moving fast ahead of the dogs so when and if you get a shot it is a quick proposition.AND you don't shoot just once. You empty the gun so as to stop an adrenalin charged deer being chased by predators. There's them that really like it.I prefer still hunting or stand hunting.

The more I listen,the more I hear....and vice versa.

45/70,it's almost a religion.

If you have to take a second shot then you probably shouldn't have taken the first shot.
