264wm, is your posting handle also your cartridge of choice? I'm really partial to my own .264 which is a stainless/gray laminate M77. I really need to give some attention to that rifle by means of working up a load for it and treating it to some range time.






I have been shooting my Rem model 721 264 since 1963 and just had her rebarrled in 2009 with a Shilen 30" barrel I like the light bullets best sierra 85gr&100gr HP. 95gr Vmax and 100gr Nosler ballistic tip with 72gr H4831 on rock chucks to Elk. I am sure the 85gr is at 3900fps as Hodgdon publishes 3812 with 73gr 4831 and I should be pulling a extra 100fps with the longer barrel
