I was amazed that my 12v driver out performed an 18v drill over and over, at like 1/3 less weight, and many fewer stripped screw heads. Thumps the bigger long screws right in (noisy though). Makita fan here , but Dewalt has the same type. The 1/4" hex quick connect is a godsend as well.
