Sorry B-man...got off track. Start out slow and build it. We started nearly 20 years ago and now it's a huge undertaking with over a hundred volunteers and lots of donations. Everything for the kids is free.

The most popular event is our trout pond. A local fishermans group sponsors it. Kids put a piece of corn on a Zebco rig and catch themselves a Rainbow. They can take it home, we'll clean it, or they can release it. I think they donate the rod & reels too.

Get other outdoor groups involved like DU, NWTF, Delta, Boy Scouts, NRA Foundation, WU, etc., all who will bring volunteers and $$$ for the kids. It's really a very easy sell. Even WalMart, Gander, and Cabelas like to get in the game...it's all about the kids. Win/win. smile
