We made it back from SD last night. It was a fun, beautiful, and successful trip on a few fronts.
1) We got to visit Ryan, Mrs. Ryan, and the Boss...the little girl that runs the house. They're always so welcoming. Ryan threw some elk tenderloin on the smoker that happened to be ready when he skinned the deer. I'm sure me fumbling around doing it was driving him nuts since he does about a dozen a year. lol
2) We got to get boots on the ground in an area Jack and I would like to hunt in the future. Beautiful country, much, much less flat than it looks on Google Earth. Jack got to see some bucks while hunting and learn a few new ways to hunt.
