fishing reels? It is February 16th, 3-5 inches of snow expected, windy and it is 13 degrees out and we are talking fishing reels?

Well I have and use baitcasters quite a bit for northerns and muskies. I have Abus and Shimanos. They have all been good, but the one that I find in my hand more than anything else is a Shimano Calcutta. Dont know if they even make them anymore cuz this is a late 90s model. I have a 6500, 5500, 5600 and another one or two in the Abu line. Good stuff, but generally not as smooth as the Shimano line. I really wonder how many casts I have made in my life. All those reels have stood up to a lot of casting. I used to sell rods and reels on the weekends for 6-8 years. Good way to earn extra money to buy equipment!
